Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, we have had to employ additional measures to keep crews and passengers safe.
Please note: Health in general, and public health in particular, is devolved in Wales therefore we follow the regulations and guidelines issued by the Welsh Government, not those which apply elsewhere in the UK; this includes regulations and guidelines issued by the UK Government that only apply in England. *For more information about the rules that apply in Wales visit https://gov.wales/coronavirus.*
Please do not attend for your trip if you or any member of your group:
a) have tested positive for COVID-19 in the 14 days prior to your trip;
b) develop symptoms of COVID-19 in the 14 days prior to your trip (symptoms include high temperature, new persistent cough or loss or change to your sense of smell or taste);
c) have been told to self-isolate in the 14 days prior to your trip, unless you have completed any period of self-isolation or had 2 negative LFT/PCR tests 4 days apart;
d) are travelling from an area subject to local lockdown or similar measures, unless non-essential travel is permitted under the regulations;
e) have travelled from or visited an area under local lockdown in the 14 days prior to your trip; or
f) have travelled internationally in the previous 28 days, unless you have completed any required quarantine period.
If any of the above apply, please contact us on 01248 810907 to rearrange your booking; in such circumstances we will waive any cancellation fees due, otherwise we reserve the right to refuse boarding and apply a 100% cancellation fee.
If you do test positive for COVID-19 within 14 days of your trip, or develop any symptoms of COVID-19 in that period, we ask that you contact us on 01248 810907 at the earliest opportunity: we will need the lead passenger’s name, the date and time of your trip, and the type of trip (cruise, fishing trip etc) as a minimum, and it would be useful if you could also provide your booking reference as well. If we are contacted by the NHS Wales Test, Trace, Protect Service we are required to provide your contact details to them; you in turn are required to keep details of all members of your group for up to 4 weeks after your trip.
Cruises and fishing trips continue to run at reduced numbers.
You are strongly advised and encouraged to wear a mask for the duration of your trip, at least during boarding/disembarkation, and at any time a member of the crew is providing assistance.
The toilet facilities on board our vessels are not available to passengers, unless you are on a fishing trip aboard the *Sarah Jane Too*; it may not always be possible to tell you which vessel you are on until the day of your trip so it is best to assume that these facilities are not available.
Public toilets are available on Wall Street, near the kiosk/pier entrance.
We use cleaning chemicals to wash benches, seats and other high-touch areas which **may** cause damage to certain fabrics so please wear something you don’t mind getting dirty/stained: details of the products used are available upon request. If you have particularly sensitive skin, we suggest you consult a medical professional about any action you can take to minimise the risk of any skin conditions which may be caused by prolonged contact with items cleaned with these products. We can take no responsibility for any injury or damage caused by the cleaning procedures used.
