All-day fishing trips for experienced anglers
These day trips are perfect for experienced anglers looking to spend a day’s fishing, with an opportunity for bigger fish and a wider range of species. General trips include plenty of time drift, reef and deep-water fishing, with wreck trips targeting a number of wrecks off the Anglesey and North Wales coast. Keep your eye out for specific tope trips in May and September!
Rod hire and bait is available on request, but we think most people booking these trips will have rods and tackle they’d need. If you’d would like some advice about what gear or bait to bring, feel free to give us a ring.
These trips don’t sail every week outside of the high season, so if you can’t see a time that suits you online, give us a ring on 01248 810379 or email book@starida.co.uk and we will do what we can to help you.
What could I catch?
Target species vary according to the tides and time of year, so please check with us in advance. But trips normally start with feathering for whiting or mackerel.
Rules: All trips depart from Beaumaris Pier and you will need to collect your boarding cards at least 20 minutes prior to the scheduled departure time. Failure to be at the right place in time will result in you missing the boat and your seats being resold.
All trips are weather permitting, details of how to confirm your trip are included in your booking confirmation email. We attempt to contact all passengers to advise them of cancellation or significant changes at the earliest opportunity but this cannot always be guaranteed, especially in the event of multiple cancellations. The easiest way to let you know of any changes is by text so make sure you opt in for text message updates.
Please check our FAQ page for details on checking in, what to bring, and accessibility.
Please note: Information as to what species may be caught is provided as a guide only and we can make no guarantees over what can be caught on particular trips.
PLEASE NOTE: our boats are not commercial fishing boats and our trips are not intended for anything other than leisure fishing. We reserve the right to deny boarding to any person we think may be intending anything different. We do not allow large containers such as buckets or barrels on board any of our fishing trips, however you can bring a cool box, especially on longer (4+ hours) trips.
